Spraying system FLEXOMANT

The Flexomant models for rear-mounting are suited particularly to areas of application, where a precise, uniformly metered application of the herbicides onto the treated surface area is required. The pumps on the Flexomant models are wheel-driven, meaning that metering is dependent on the distance travelled (adjustment: l per ha) and not on the speed of the forward motion. The nozzles are electrically driven via the tracor's on-board power supply.

An articulated parallelogram between the attachement and the wheel ensures that the wheels remain on the surface, even over rough terrain, so that the pump is driven continiously. The small gap between the nozzle or spray hood and the ground remains constant so that drift is avoided.

The unit's extension arms are standard equipped with spray hoods with a steel roll-up device and a spray width of 40 cm. A folding mechanism on the extension arm ensures that the spray hood folds back upon contact with an obstacle (e.g. tree trunk) so that no damage will occur. The folding mechanism spring can be optionally replaced with a softer spring in order to better protect tender, young trees, for example, from damage. The roll-up device rolls up upon contact with on obstacle, thereby offering additional protection against damage to cultivated plants or to the spray hood.

Plastic spray hoods with a 36 cm width are also available as an option on Flexomant models.
