The pumps on the MANKAR-E models are driven electrically and are switched on and off with the push of a button. In this manner, the spraying process can be triggered over specific sections of the path if, for example, a very patchy weed problem is present and only portions of the pathway need to be treated.

If the unit is to provide overall surface coverage, then the anticipated walking speed must be considered when adjusting the desired metering rate. This should be maintained as precisely and as uniform as possible during herbicide application in order to realise a contant volume per unit of surface area.

The primary areas of deployment for the MANKAR-E models are pathways and plazas with water-bound surfaces, where relatively low or patchy weed problems are present.

MANKAR-P models are outfitted with a small wheel (400 mm, similar to a wheelbarrow) and are thus suited for handling in-row cultivation, above all, as well as pathways and plazas with water-bound surfaces with only low degrees of roughness.
