Spraying system ULV for herbicide MANKAR-P 50

Metering with a wheel driven pump

Metering on the MANKAR-P models takes place by means of a pump, which is driven by the spraying system wheel. Therefore, it is dependent on the distance travelled (path-dependent) and not on the speed of the forward motion. With every turn of the wheel, a defined volume of herbicide is released. In this manner, the output volume can be precisely metered per unit of surface area (litre per ha).

The result: an optimal distribution of the active substance onto the surface being treated.

This method of metering is deployed primarily in large areas of cultivation with distances between rows of 50 to 110 cm. Path-dependent metering may also make sense for very long pathways or for larger areas with water-bound surfaces, if a relatively uniform weed problem is present.

MANKAR-P models are outfitted with a small wheel (400 mm, similar to a wheelbarrow) and are thus suited for handling in-row cultivation, above all, as well as pathways and plazas with water-bound surfaces with only low degrees of roughness.
