Hand-held spraying systems MANKAR®

Hand-held spraying systems MANKAR® - New Models

Hand-held spraying systems MANKAR®-Carry

The hand-held MANKAR® spraying systems are well suited for deployment in areas of dense cultivation, areas where regular rows have not been planted, or anyplace where, due to surface properties, a high degree of flexibility is needed.

Metering takes place by manual adjustment of the metering valve, depending on the herbicide being used. Herbicide travels by gravitational force from the tank to the nozzle via the valve. The nozzle is activated by the push of a button, meaning that spray is actuated only where needed. In order to achieve a uniform apportioning per unit of surface area (e.g. l/ha), the anticipated walking speed must be considered when adjusting the valve and the output must be held as constant as possible.

Spray widths are available from 20 to 50 cm. On some units, the spray width can be infinitely adjusted by rotating the spray hood.

Wheelbarrow units MANKAR®

Wheelbarrow units MANKAR® - New Models

Wheelbarrow units MANKAR®-Roll

Because the spray systems in the MANKAR®-Roll group are pushed like wheelbarrows, they are very nicely suited to handling large areas of in-row cultivation, for example, as well as pathways and plazas with water-bound surfaces. Up-slope and down-slope gradients are no problem thanks to the low unit weights from 12.5 to 22.0 kg (incl. herbicide, depending on the spray hood size and pump drive). Spray widths are available from 45 to 110 cm. Depending on the spray hood, the spray widths are either predetermined, are manually adjustable within a specific range or are adapted automatically upon contact with obstacles.

There are three essential distinguishing features - besides the spray hood variants - between the different models: herbicide metering, wheel size and spray hood posotion.

Further spray widths and models are available on request.

Mounted units MANKAR®

Mounted units MANKAR®

Mounted units MANKAR®-Drive

The units for mounting or attachment are suited to deployment over large areas, such as in orchards and vineyards, as well as in-row cultivation and puplic parks. The essential features distinguishing the different models are:

The number, width and configuration of the spray hoods:
Spray hoods, including their spray widths, number and configuration, are adapted according to the area of application, such as for narrow strip spraying along rows or for complete coverage of wide pathways.

Herbicide metering:
Metering takes place by means of wheel-driven or electric-driven pumps.

Mounting or attachement options:
Models are available for front- and rear-mounting, exlusively for front- or for rear-mounting, as well as models for simple attachment.

Extension width or working width of the extension arm:
Differing, mostly variable extension widths are available.

ULV Herbicide mounted spraying systems (attachment to tractors) - new models

MANKAR products have four different series of extra mounted units for spraying systems. Except Unima-City all models have one or two movable spray hoods, which bend backward when there’s an obstacle like stumps and trunks. The herbicide containers and the other units are made of metal. All of the mounted models have electronic system to follow the functions of the pulverisator.

MANKAR ULV spraying systems were originally developed for the undiluted application of glyphosate. However, the units are suited for use with most liquid herbicides. The advantages of MANKAR ULV spraying systems can be used particularly with foliar herbicides, especially where the protection of cultivated plants against damage from herbicide contact is essential.
