Corn drip irrigation system with the longest row in Bulgaria

This corn drip irrigation system is designed to secure an optimal irrigation of the village area complying with climate conditions and soil features of the region. Extant hydrant is used as water source. The filter group consist of sand filter ASA and disk filter XD for fine clearance.
After the filter group under pressure the water goes to the distributor net. The hose net consist of main pipelines, filled with pipes Layflat 3", distributor pipelines with pipes Layflat 2".
Using this type hoses doesn't cramp the crops cultivation. When the hose "Lay Flat" is placed and collected right at the end of every season, it can be used 5-6 years.
With help from distributor knots and watertaken sleeves the water is pushed to the drip tape Aqua-TraXX from Toro /USA/. Using these type hoses allowed reaching rows with 750 m lenght and equalable irrigation - 90%.
On this field was reached the longest row in Bulgaria with lenght 900 m. The achieved irrigation norm on the fields is 0,75mm/hectar/day.
Drip irrigation on corn fields increases the yields and the quality of the production. Irrigation conditions increase the yields with 50%.
